“I was asked to write what CrossFit means to me. A simple question, that has so much heart, soul and meaning behind.
CrossFit has given me confidence (not that I needed much more) friendships that I’m forever grateful for but most importantly it has shown my boys that you can do anything, be anything, achieve anything. CrossFit has given me … ME. It’s made me who I am, it’s made me a better mother, a better wife and for this, has given me a better life.
I could tell you the basic, typical response that CrossFit means health, fitness and staying active BUT it’s just so much more.
We all have that one thing, that one thing that gets us excited, sparks a light, makes the heart beat a little faster (and not because of all those burpees) gives us that nervous, excited feeling in the tummy. That’s CrossFit. It’s an adrenaline rush, mixed in with a warm hug at the end of the day, a really good slice of hot pizza with extra anchovies and a dash of WTF.”
